Bathroom Renovation – Stylish Upgrade in Arnos Grove

This project in Arnos Grove involved a full bathroom renovation inside a high-ceilinged period home. Our team was challenged with delivering a modern, functional space while working within the original architectural limits of the property. One of the key challenges on this job was the ceiling height, which required tall tile runs and precise alignment for visual balance. We opted for large-format marble-effect ceramic tiles that extend from the bathtub to the ceiling, creating a luxurious and spacious feel even in a compact layout. Careful planning and leveling were essential to ensure symmetry and a professional finish, especially around corners and window recesses.

The installation of the LED illuminated mirror cabinet introduced another layer of complexity. Due to the high-level ceiling and extended wiring runs, our electricians had to reroute and extend the electrical supply discreetly without disturbing the existing walls. The mirror is now flush-mounted with ambient lighting, offering both practical task lighting and a modern feature.

Plumbing works included a new thermostatic rainfall shower, handheld head, and a new vanity basin unit with chrome mixer tap. The suite chosen is part of our premium range – designed for minimal maintenance and maximum visual appeal. The bath screen was installed flush and sealed with precision, eliminating leaks and improving long-term durability.

To complement the upper marble tones, we used a darker slate-effect porcelain tile for the floor and bath panel to ground the design and add contrast. This helped define the lower zone of the bathroom and prevent visual overcrowding, especially in a narrow layout.
